Your true value

99-SECOND READ

'No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.'

Eleanor Roosevelt

Understanding your true value is essential to thriving in life.

Many of my clients underestimate their value, which means they create all kinds of unhealthy dynamics in their life. For example overworking, over-committing, and settling for jobs, relationships or circumstances that are detrimental to their health and well-being.

Knowing your value means understanding your worth and what you bring to the table. It's important to know what you have to offer to the world so you can make better decisions, set healthy boundaries, take bolder actions, and ultimately get more from your career, and relationships, and create a lifestyle you love.

Having a clear understanding of what you bring to the table boosts your self-esteem and confidence, allowing you to confidently articulate why you deserve a higher salary or working hours that suit your needs. You feel empowered to live life on your terms and you're more likely to take risks and pursue opportunities that align with your goals and passions.

Knowing your value helps others too;

  • When you understand your worth, you're less likely to settle for less than you deserve or tolerate mistreatment, which leads to more fulfilling and healthy relationships.
  • It helps your colleagues see the value you bring and how they can better utilise your skills.

Make time weekly to consciously reflect on your strengths, skills, personal qualities, and the potential you have within you. One of the best ways to do this is through conversation so if you want help learning your true value allow me to help you - book a call.

It's important to note that knowing your value doesn't mean you're arrogant or overconfident. It's about recognising your worth without diminishing the value of others. It's also important to continuously evaluate and reassess your value as you grow and learn.

Realise that your value doesn't come from constantly trying to give or please others, it comes from who you are and your unique insights, talents and qualities.

'I had a true breakthrough session with Simon. In just our first session together, he was able to identify the root fears blocking me and through his thought-provoking questions helped me come up with a solution to break that pattern.

I wasn't expecting this level of breakthrough in my first session with him, but was very pleasantly surprised! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM to help unlock your highest potential!'
