Steven, CRM Manager, London

Steven came to me when he had just been made redundant. He wanted to use this as an opportunity to create success. He worked on his confidence and ability to lead, and perform under pressure - in interviews and presentations with senior employees. He got a job within weeks, and learned to thrive in his new role. He had to learn to set boundaries and manage people's expectations so that he wasn't overloaded by work.

"I had been playing around with the idea of coaching for around a year before finding Simon's website online. Something in that moment clicked and pushed me to reach out and see what support Simon could offer to help me.

At that time I was feeling a bit lost in my career. I love what I do, but had hit a plateau in my career due to burnout, anxiety and a bit of both in truth. I wanted to be able to connect with myself again and understand why I was feeling this way and learn how to refocus my energy and understand my value.

My first ever call with Simon was definitive. I experienced a lot of empathy but also a guy I could fully trust to build my confidence back up and uncover the reason I was feeling this way. After deciding to take on a 3-month transformational coaching programme - I put all my energy into making the best out of this commitment.

During those 3 months with Simon, I went from feeling overwhelmed while meeting new people, to securing my first ever contract role for a fintech bank after just 2 sessions. The hour-long online sessions were packed full of practical tips and assignments that helped me reshape my way of thinking. A theme that came up early on was the idea of "rewiring my way of thinking" and this became the key breakthrough I had during my time at coaching where I no longer feared situations that I was resistant to previously.

Simon is one of the most professional people I've met. He never judges, listens very intently and provides a framework for getting back on track and points you in the direction for what you define as success for you. The practical assignments were very enjoyable. Most Sundays I would visit a coffee shop to cover the latest one in a relaxed environment away from all distractions. These tasks helped me unlock new ideas and made me feel more grounded than I had done in a very long time. The biggest feat of coaching is that I now journal which is something I hadn't cared to think about before.

I highly recommend Simon to anyone who is looking to make a change in their career or personal life."
